Jimmy Eat World is one of my favorite bands; It's very rare for me to find a band that I enjoy listening to all of their songs. In this case, Jimmy Eat World has clearly defied the odds for me and is clearly the exception.
"23" by Jimmy Eat World is definitely one of my few favorite songs I can listen to over and over again. Everything composed in this piece is
incredible -- from the background string instruments, to the lead and bass guitar, drums, and lyrics... It's a 7:24 min. song, but I promise it's worth it if you patiently listen all the way through and appreciate the sounds and lyrics...

Ouach! Getting user-tagged by mZdejavuZ is like getting swine flu right now! JK! Yeah, I completely forgot about this great song when I mentioned their great songs. Thanks for posting this song for the ones who never heard of that great band. Man, that "Futures" album is one of the best I've ever listened to. Oh yeah, last but not least, I'll collect my royalties later this week

Great song! Thanks for sharing. I think the extent of my Jimmy Eat World listening was with two songs, "The Middle" and "Sweetness". I also remember one of their videos being shot at Madison West HS. It was for the song "Work".

HAHA!! Oh yeah, of course I had to post this song! It's so great... I love it...! Can't get enough of it! Anyways, yeah, you're sooo right! "Futures" was an awesome album... Man, Jimmy Eat World is like the greatest band ever!! I can't believe how underrated they are! LOL you'll be collecting your royalties later this week? LOL What royalties?

@kachino - I'm actually STILL on my "mini-vaction" after my exams! I have a little over a week break until going back to school -- and I intend on living it up until then!
J.E.W. does have a lot of fans, for sure, and I don't know, I thought about your comment, and I was thinking, if Jimmy was mainstream, would they be just as good as they are now?... 'Cause it seems like when a lot of bands go mainstream, their style and sounds change because of different record label companies/producers, etc. ... So I guess it's a good thing that they are slightly "underrated" in a way. I mean, people know about Jimmy, but they are not popular like other well-known bands (is what I meant by "underrated")

Miss nurse! I think you have a problem here. I honestly think Ann is still not recovered and needs to go back to the hospital, especially after typing the last portion of her comment in all CAPS and the overuse of smileys.

wow i was just reading about the places you've been, and you've been to qutite a lot of places.. were they all for vacations?
@MadaMadaDan3 - Oh LOL yeah those were all places that I've either been to on vacation or stopped by briefly... When I was a kid, our family went on a lot of road trips and traveled a lot! It was awesome.
I love this song too....lots of memories and tumbled dreams,,,fighting for a self...yes a history, a deep history. This 23 and I.
